Cilento Coast - Marina d'Arechi
Cilento Coast
Sailing north, you arrive at Acciaroli, a picturesque village beloved by Ernest Hemingway, where a stop in the alleys and a coffee with a sea view are a must. Pioppi, the capital of the Mediterranean diet, is another unmissable stop, perfect for a dinner of fresh fish and local wines.
Continuing south, you encounter Agropoli, with its castle and scenic streets, from which it is easy to reach the temples of Paestum. Finally, a stop in Santa Maria di Castellabate offers artisan shopping and gourmet dinners by the sea. Conclude your journey in Acciaroli or Ascea for a moment of peace amidst unspoiled nature and turquoise waters.
How to arrive
The Marina is easily accessible by CAR, by TRAIN and by PLANE. For those arriving by car, from the South: on the A2 del Mediterraneo exit Pontecagnano. From the North: on the A30 and A1 exit Salerno-Fratte. From there, take the Salerno ring road and exit 4-Mariconda. A large parking area is available inside the Marina. For those arriving by train, we recommend getting off at the FS Salerno Centrale station, served by high-speed trains. The Marina is connected to the station by light rail, "Stadio Arechi" stop. Otherwise, buses are available: lines 5 and 24 Busitalia Campania. For those arriving by plane, the Marina is only 14 kilometers from Salerno "Costa d'Amalfi" airport, dedicated to general aviation. Capodichino International Airport with scheduled flights is 67 kilometers away. Every day at 2 pm the connection by ship Salerno-Messina is active, an excellent idea also for customers who choose to experience the one way charter between our two bases in Southern Italy!
